I have one [Emberpulse™] of these too. It is a very handy device for monitoring power, and managing using solar power vs importing grid power. It is so good that I even figured out while I was on holidays I had too much power consumption at home while nobody was there. It turned out when I got home that our fridge condenser fan had failed, so the fridge compressor pump was on nearly all of the time, using electricity. All fixed now.

Very happy with ours. We can see how the tiny system the previous owners installed is barely exporting so it’s worth losing the premium feed in tariff to upgrade.
So we’ve had one chat with an installer to start that process and they will use the data from this to help plan our new system.
We’ve also switched off the bar fridge and the caravan fridge and are running lean and mean in our house now. Very good information to have.

My Emberpulse™ has proven to be incredibly helpful in budgeting. Weekly reports and daily checks allow me to track my usage, cost to date and predicted quarterly bill amount. It allows me to control my electricity consumption to stay within budget if needs be. Predictions are fairly accurate, a few dollars over actual cost. I've been able to stay within budget every quarter, usually with left over to pop onto the mortgage!

Great Product
The Emberpulse™ is great for anyone that is energy conscious. The app shows you in realtime how much power you are producing and how much you are using, making it extremely handy for keeping an eye on your solar system. By looking over at the emberpulse and checking to see if it is flashing green gives me a quick indication if its the right time to turn on a load of washing or an appliance. Really happy with the product as it has helped us optimise our solar energy.
